The Heritage golf tournament Verizon was played on the famous Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island, SC, every year since 1969. The course was hosted by Pete Dye, with contributions from Jack Nicklaus. The people known as “The Heritage, South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event has been scheduled in the week after the Masters since 1983. This year, Verizon Heritage April 14 -20, 2008.
